Fleishman-Hillard international communications network has been named in the 2012 “Top 50 Companies for Executive Women” by the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE). The honor marks the third consecutive year the agency has been recognized.
The list traditionally highlights organizations whose policies and practices encourage the advancement of women’s careers. Results are based on factors such as succession planning, profit-and-loss roles, gender pay parity, support programs and work-life balance.
“We make it a priority to give our employees the support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential,” said Dave Senay, president and CEO of Fleishman-Hillard. “Because of this, we’ve been able to attract, retain and promote the industry’s most talented women. And they in turn provide the excellent leadership and insight that make Fleishman-Hillard an employer of choice, for both executive women and others.”
At Fleishman-Hillard, women make up 66 percent of the firm’s worldwide workforce. “Part of the reason the company has so many female leaders is that it provides the growth opportunities and the flexibility to succeed in both career and family life,” said Betty Spence, Ph.D., NAFE’s president. With regard to career advancement, in just the past year, Fleishman-Hillard has announced several strategic senior-level hires and promotions for female employees. These include executive vice president, regional office general manager, head of global client relations and deputy GM of the global technology team.
«As part of the international network we adhere to the same policy and try to give our employees the maximum possibilities to advance their careers and grow personally and professionally. We also support young mothers in the company with more flexible working hours», — Elena Fadeeva, general director of Fleishman-Hillard Vanguard commented.
